RATE MY SPACE

HGTV’s new show RATE MY SPACE is a spin-off from their popular Rate My Space website (click here). According to the producer’s casting page, “Hosted by designer Angelo Surmelis, each half-hour episode features a homeowner who’s decorating attempt didn’t fare well when posted on HGTV’s Rate My Space website. Working with a hefty budget that we provide, Angelo, along with carpenter Jared Walker Dostie, give it their all to make sure your newly designed room receives the highest rating, but they aren’t doing it alone! We’re taking decorating to a whole new level by involving HGTV’s on-line community. We’ll be incorporating Inspirational Designers from across America to share their decorating ideas, tips and opinions. In the end, one lucky homeowner will have a gorgeous new room to post back on Rate My Space, and hopefully this time get five-stars!” You must live within 30 miles of LA zip code 91607, be willing to let the design team have free reign over the redecoration of the room and be available, for shooting purposes, for 4-5 shooting days over a 2-3 week period.
